Welcome to the website of the

Parish Church of St. Peter & St. Paul, St. Osyth, Essex

You can see the forecast for the next two days by going to the Diary page

I wanted to let you know about forthcoming changes to our Parish life.

Our Parish is in the process of forming a Benefice with the Parish of Great Bentley, with the agreement from both parishes. A benefice is a parish or group of parishes whose pastoral care is given and services are led by the same ministry team. At this time we think that it may mean a day and a half a week in Great Bentley and Sunday Services but this will become clearer once we begin working together which we hope will be in February.

It is hoped that we will be able to maintain the majority of our services and also make opportunities to worship and grow together.

Revd. Sharon

Details of our ADVENT & CHRISTMAS SERVICES 2014 can be found by clicking on the WORSHIP page above

This is a church of great historical interest and has at its heart the Christian faith. The history of the church runs in parallel with that of St. Osyth Priory. A guide to the building and a brief history of the church is available on this website and in the church should you choose to visit us.

We welcome worshippers and visitors to our church from the local community, the UK and the world.

We hope that you will find the information you need on this website. It includes details of our services, a diary, our activities and past events. If you cannot find what you are looking for then please do make contact with us by clicking on the CONTACTS button above. Better still, if you and your family and friends are able to visit us, you will find a very warm welcome awaits you.

We look forward to seeing you.

Revd. Sharon Miles, Priest in Charge.

Revd Sharon Miles and Curate, Revd.Eddie Howson
