Revd. Heather Connell
is with great sadness that we have to report that Revd. Heather
passed away peacefully on Sunday 21st September at St. Helena's
Hospice in Colchester. Our prayers and thoughts are with her
Revd. Heather's funeral service will be held in the church on
Tuesday 7th October at 12noon, followed by a private cremation.
SHOE BOX APPEAL
The Sunday Club children will be supporting the Methodist Chapel
again this year. You can fill a shoe box for a boy or a girl,
2-4, 5-9, & 10-14 years old. Donations of items are also
welcomed. Boxes/donations should include things like: gloves
& scarfs, hats, toothbrushes & toothpaste, flannels,
soap, paper, pens, pencils, toys, balls, skipping ropes, soft
toys & sweets (NOT chocolate). Donations/boxes to Jo, Shirley
